A decade before the Trust was formed, Mother( Sona Kumar )and Daughter (Priya Kumar) the team was up in arms doing social work.
Sona Kumar started volunteering for NGO at Andheri Station for children, who were petty vendors, educating them.
While Miss Priya Kumar teamed up with her students to felicitate Traffic Police, BEST staff etc.
They both helped organise an Audition for Antakhshri on Zee TV for Physically & Mentally Challenged children.
Mrs Sona Kumar volunteered with SHARE, an NGO for physically & mentality challenged youth from the slum, run by Mr & Mrs Ronnie Screwala for 10 years.
25-year-old Miss Ranjana Kamble could only crawl due to Polio in both legs.
She was hospitalised for treatment & walked out with the support of callipers & crutches.
She was given a Sewing Machine so that she could become financially independent too.
They started Rural Projects like water, solar, sanitation, income generation etc before starting Urban Projects.
They visited a slum nearby & were shocked to see poverty, illiteracy & sickness all around.
They realised that the leading cause of poverty was illiteracy. Parents in slums were too poor to send children to private schools, and could not afford to pay tuition fees as a result children would fail, drop out of school and start earning.
Due to meagre income and large families, children are malnourished, catch infections, fall ill, miss school and fail.
In order to avoid school dropouts, they started tuition classes and looked after the health of slum children in Anand Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, India

He is an ex Branch Manager and Product Manager of HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank and Barclays Bank. He is founder and Career Coach at EuroFutbol. He promotes underprivileged artists and sports persons.

She is director for startup, Sensoact Innovations. She is a research advisor to a healthcare multinational company and advisor for AI training at a multinational training company. She is founder trustee of DEESHA, a charitable trust dedicated for the education of the underprivileged.
